This once yellow planter, has been rescued and recreated into a bold hanging lamp,
by FunkWorks Art. The ceramic planter itself was made by Haeger Potteries. With an extensive background in ceramics and beyond, Haeger Art Pottery continues to produce sculptures today; boasting over 100 years of skilled craftsmanship in the United States.
Dawn Klyczek’s pendant lamp story:
The simple yellow bowl was discovered in a thrift store and breathed new life by Dawn Klyczek after previous use as a garden pot. Klyczek spends countless hours devoted to finding past treasures and hand-crafting them into present style forms, from her studio in Spring Hill, Florida. As an environmentally aware,
re-designer, her talent places fun and whimsical personality into each of her (re-)new items available for purchase. The re-newed ‘bold pottery pendant light’ piece above, has tiny unique characteristics of its life, presented on the inside of the bowl. A minimalistic yet bold twist for any retro-modern style living space.Visit FunkWorks Art studio—a reclaimed and upcycled specialty shop.
